I've never understood why anyone likes white text on black

Check: Reset scrollback on keypress
Uncheck: Reset scrollback on display activity

Category: Window > Appearance
Font: Fixedsys is more readable than Lucida

Category: Window > Colours
Default Foreground: 85 85 85
Default Bold Foreground: 0 0 0
Default Background: 242 242 242
Default Bold Background: 255 255 255
Cursor Text: 85 85 85

Vim/emacs syntax coloring shows up so much better this way.
