I can understand that not everyone wants these reports. But by not notifying upstream at least once you loose out everyone else too. I do agree it should be opt-in though.

PS I really dislike an RSS feed for tracking bugs. Much rather have everything consolidated into my mailbox.

PS2 The way Launchpad creates a community around a package is much more advanced than doing queries in tools.
